Government Schools is facing a lot of trouble in improving education facilities given at schools like quality education, improper infrastructure, no good playgrounds, lack of toilet facilities. Parents don’t want to send their kids for education to primary school at the states due to their bad image.
Shri Krishna Sharma, 76-yaer-old man is from Shahjahanpur decided to take a step to change this image by teaching children without being paid as he was retired a long back but his passion of teaching and educating never retired.
He teaches in Government Junior High School in Kant Block, Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh from the same school where he got retired. After retirement he was not paid for his services but he kept teaching at the same school which motivated many other teachers who were retired and are now coming back to teach children support this teacher and he will soon be honoured by The Education Department of State in future.
Shri Krishna Sharma was posted in same school in May 1954 as a teacher in Primary Education Department where he also got retired on 30 June 1995, at his retirement ceremony the love and affection he got from children and other teachers made him encourage to continue as a teacher. He teaches English as as he is retired so he is not balloted any classes, so he teaches any class where teachers are not present. He wants all his students to be have a good hold over good communication skills for the future.
Even if other teachers takes leaves, he never misses even a single day at the school and this makes many children fond of him.
The Primary Education Department has planned to soon honour him.
